Since 2013, Happy Snappy has provided the photographic systems at uShaka Marine World in Durban. Within five months of taking over from the previous supplier, Happy Snappy generated more revenue for the park than the previous suppler had achieved in nine years. This is the benefit of working with a globally backed, professional outfit that is not just focused on photography, but also on systems, processes and people.

We identified the aquarium as a previously under-utilised area of the park and turned it into the leading area for generating photographic revenue. We redeveloped the atrium area and themed it to represent a cargo hold. Happy Snappy now photographs guests at 13 separate locations across the park, and our delivery ranges from tailored capture processes to dolphin show videography, and even underwater photography by our scuba-trained staff!
