Good day there, my name is Gert Vrey, also known as the “photographer”. What started as a hobby 14 years ago turned into a passion, a passion I couldn’t ignore. And thus gave birth to what is now known as : HappySnappy. From the name you will learn that photography is a fun thing for me, intended to be enjoyed by photographer, model and subject. I do photography for the love of the art.
Action photography is a difficult subject to master, its takes time, patience and lots of money to perfect, taking camera equipment and time spend into consideration. Everyday is a learning curve, and the fun lies in getting that special photo, the one photo that stands out in the pack...
Currently I am concentrating on big events like swimming galas, athletics, school photos and special functions. I print the photos on site or you can order a DVD with the total event photos. I started Stock photography about 18 months ago, in short stock photography is those nice pictures you see in magazines of models or products. I post these photos on several international web sites where anybody can buy them and use them for Web page design or the printing media. I have also been lucky enough to have a few of my photos published in local books.
I have set up a home studio with the aim to do more model shoots as well as Mother and Baby , family and art photos where the right light will make the difference between a good and excellent photo..
